Annual Visitation to Lodge Fraser No. 267
Last night was a special occasion at Lodge Fraser No. 267 at Strichen. Following an excellent working of the Fellowcraft Degree for Bro Wesley Morgan, son of Bro. George Morgan and grandson of PM Bro. Mike Morgan, who took the Chair for the evening was carried out for the PGL Visitation. Following a favourable report on the working of the Degree and likewise from the administrative affairs of the Lodge PM Morgan was presented on the floor of the Lodge by his son and grandson, when the Secretary read the Minute of the meeting held exactly fifty years previously; the night that PM Morgan was initiated.
I the had the privilege to present PM Michael Currie Morgan with his Jubilee Certificate recognising his 50 years dedicated service to Freemasonry. PM Bro. John Shields then presented Bro. Morgan with his 50 year jewel. A unique occasion indeed involving three generations of the Morgan family.
