Tonight, Monday 23rd June, Prostate Champion, Bro William Bruce, myself and Bro Eric Brockie did a public presentation in the Public Hall in New Pitsligo. 25 brethren and members of the public were in attendance. Willie did his usual slick and informative presentation, with myself contributing little gems of medical wisdom when required. Eric informed us of his experience of Prostate FFIT run by Aberdeen FC. He outlined the benefits of the fitness programme after his own treatment, specifically the support and information he gained.
The presentation was well received by the assembled audience and a very interesting and animated Q&A took place. £49 was raised on the evening
Thanks are due to the Brethren of Lodge St Andrew 518 who organised and supported the evening and supplied the refreshments and the trustees of New Pitsligo Hall for allowing us the use of the premises. We are looking forward to other public meetings in other villages.
